The 13e RALLYE MONTE-CARLO HISTORIQUE will be held from the January 28th to the February 3rd 2010
The 13th Monte-Carlo Historic Rally will run from the 28th January to the 3rd February 2010. This new edition, of one of the greatest winter historic rallies, has undergone some changes, outlined here by Michel Ferry, President of the Vehicles Committee of the Automobile Club de Monaco collection: Since the last rally, we have worked significantly on the choice of routes and stages. A new timing system will be employed. Stages will be tougher and competitors will face great challenges. To win this, you'll need to be a true regularity champion.
Copenhague is the departure town for Scandinavian countries,
Bad-Hambourg is the start for German teams,
Barcelona, Turin and Reims complete the starting-city line up for the concentration stage.
As last year, Monte-Carlo will be the arrival town for all contestants for the end of the Concentration Leg. As with the previous historic rally, drivers will pass through Saint-André des Alpes, where there will be a Time Control, before continuing to La Bollene-Vesubie for the start of the first ZR (regularity stage) - the famous La Bollène-Vésubie / Col de Turini / Peira-Cava / Luceram They then head to the end-of-stage parc fermé, located on the Darse Sud (South Quay), in the Port of Monaco.
